What is a StubStump™?

A StubStump foundation is the "stump" that supports a "stub" tower for a quicker and easier short tower deployment for small technology products that require lower elevations (60' and under) for line-of-sight applications. This foundation system is specifically designed for customers that require a rapid deployment of one or more small self-supporting towers and traditional concrete foundations are not a good fit for the location or project parameters.

The StubStump foundation is a heavy steel hot dip galvanized structural assembly that is driven into normal clay and sandy soils for either a permanent or temporary installation and is sufficient to support three-face pipe-leg towers of up to 50' with light to medium wind loads of typical small antennas, cameras, lights and cabling. The foundation assembly itself also serves as a superior grounding bond for the tower and anything mounted directly to the tower - no additional grounding should be required.

The StubStump foundation can be driven into the ground in a matter of minutes and is suitable for wide open spaces or tight fits with its compact 24" x 24" foot print and 8' depth.

This foundation is designed to be easily removable and re-used over and over again at different locations if required. Once removed there is nothing left in the ground.
